When you sign up with Hohm online, you are asked a few short questions about your electricity usage. Our proprietary software then creates an indicative proposal which is customised to your unique needs and presents the estimated cost for your solar system and monthly finance estimations.

If you are happy, we then match you with an accredited installer in your area, curate a product selection tailored to your needs and budget, source finance options, oversee the installation, and provide an all-inclusive maintenance plan.

Hohm Energy takes full responsibility for the quality of our installations, ensuring they are completed to the highest standard using only Tier 1 products. We also service the product warranties on behalf of our clients. Batteries and inverters typically come with a 10-year warranty, and solar panels come with a warranty of 20 years or more. This means if you encounter any issues with the products, you just need to contact us and we’ll handle the rest.

Hohm Energy offers a range of financing options to make going solar more accessible. We’ve partnered with Nedbank MFC to provide an asset-backed finance product, and we also assist with home loan financing through our partnership with ooba, the bond originator. If you prefer to pay cash, a small deposit is needed upfront to secure your installation date and the necessary solar products. This is not the full amount, but a part-payment to initiate the process, with the balance due as per our agreed schedule.
